I would have to say that the crocodile has survived through the ages because he has few enemies. I am in awe of him for one.

My daughter, Krystalin, aged 6, loves crocodiles. Her answer is:
Because they can go for weeks without food. And because in the time of the dinosaurs they probably stayed in the rivers and lakes when the volcano erupted and waited until all the smoke went away before coming out again.
The Crocodile is one of a kind, the adult crocodile has no natural predators, except men. They eat anything, and everything. They own the water and the land like no other animal alive.
